Superstar Prince is on the comeback trail, after announcing a three night residency for the ‘Tonight Show With Jay Leno’.
Prince is back. The mysterious star has been flirting with his audience for some time, previewing material with some special radio appearances and even a secret gig or two.
The diminutive star is currently working on three albums – two containing new material, with one featuring the artist’s prodigy. The two original albums by Prince have been named ‘LOtUSFLOW3R’ and ‘MPLSoUND’.
Whatever happened to the good old English language eh?
This will be the first time a musical has appeared on the show for three nights in a row. Prince is scheduled to appear on the late night talk show between March 25th – 27th.
In addition to this, Prince is set to play a very special set on the show on May 28th to mark Jay Leno’s departure from the show as its longtime host.
Residencies like these are not unusual on American TV. The White Stripes played a week long residency on the Conan O’Brien show, which helped push the group into the public’s imagination.
