Primus are set to perform their classic album ‘Sailing The Seas Of Cheese’ in full at the Royal Albert Hall.
Ending an eleven year silence with the release of ‘Green Naugahyde’, Primus erupted back into the live arena. Playing a handful of European dates, the band demonstrated that their legendary chops are very much still in place.
Now Primus have confirmed something a little special. Across two nights later this year, the band will occupy the historic Royal Albert Hall in order to play their album ‘Sailing The Seas Of Cheese’.
Part of a wider tour, the London shows take place on April 4th and 5th. On the first night the set will be split in two, with the first half focussing on ‘Sailing The Seas Of Cheese’ and the second using ‘Green Naugahyde’ as a template.
The second date finds Primus mixing it up, performing two sets which will span their entire back catalogue.
Tickets are on sale now. Want a reminder of just how potent a live band Primus can be? Watch the clip below, and check out the tour details after the jump.
