Primary One are set to unveil their forthcoming debut album on a series of December tour dates.
Real name Joe Flory, Primary One seems to have been around for some time. Releasing a strong of one off single, the producer has spent considerable time honing his sound, accepting and rejecting ideas.
Working with a series of collaborators, Primary One signed to Atlantic last year. Working on his debut album, the producer has spent the bulk of 2010 off the road, recruiting guest stars to visit the studio.
The result is widely tipped to be a breakthrough album for Primary One. Releasing a string of teasing singles, the London based producer is now set to gather a long player of his electro-pop nuggets.
New single ‘Never Know’ is due to drop on December 6th, and contains guest vocals from a mysterious vocalist called ‘Harry Tuttle’, which may or may not be a pseudonym for one of Joe’s favourite artists.
Set to be released in a few weeks, ‘Never Know’ comes as Primary One prepares to launch a new tour. Announcing a series of live dates, the ‘Nice To Meet You’ tour will introduce fans to his debut album.
Due for release in February, the as yet untitled effort was produced with assistance from Paul Epworth, Phillipe Zdar and more.
Primary One is set to launch the tour on December 2nd, with the first show taking place in Manchester. Moving around the country, the tour will stop by Bath, Bristol and more before ending with a party in London.
Taking place on December 15th, Primary One will perform at The Nest with fellow electro newcomers Fenech Soler.
