Primal Scream have revealed that Worship and Let’s Buy Happiness are set to play support slots at a one off London show.
Hooking up with Levi’s Craft Of Music, Primal Scream decided to put the fans in charge of a one off show. The rave rock heroes have spent the bulk of the year re-visiting ‘Screamadelica’ but in a rare move decided to throw open their set list to the fans.
Using the power of the web, fans have been able to vote for which tracks the band will play at the Electric Brixton show this Thursday (November 10th). Stretching throughout their career, the show will be one of the final Primal Scream concerts from Mani, who is set to depart for The Stone Roses re-union.
In the lead up to the one off show, Levi’s held a number of in-store gigs shining a light on new talent. Featuring six groups, fans were able to vote for their favourites with the final two named as the official support at Primal Scream’s headline show.
The votes have been tallied, with Levi’s Craft Of Music announcing that the winners are Worship and Let’s Buy Happiness.
The two groups are now limbering up for their support slots with Primal Scream. Held at Electric Brixton, the capacity crowd will be one of the largest audiences either band has ever faced.
A fantastic opportunity for two fast rising groups, Worship and Let’s Buy Happiness are set to tread the boards this Thursday (November 10th).
Clash Magazine and Spotify are partnering Levi’s Craft Of Music on their upcoming projects – expect to catch a round up of the show on ClashMusic shortly!
