Primal Scream have joined the bill for South Facing Festival.
The concert series takes place this summer at Crystal Palace Bowl, with previously confirmed acts including Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, First Aid Kid, James, and Craig David.
British music legends Primal Scream will hit South Facing Festival on August 4th, bringing their rave-rock extravaganza to South London. It’s a stellar bill, too – support includes The Jesus And Mary Chain and Texan psych-rock whirlwind The Black Angels.
Keen fans may spot a connection here – Bobby Gillespie played drums on The Jesus and Mary Chain’s seminal noise rock statement ‘Psychocandy’ before leaving the focus on Primal Scream full-time. Indeed, he recalled his stint in the Mary Chain across the pages of his recent memoir.
Tickets for the show go on general sale from 9am this Friday (March 31st).
