Popcaan will headline City Splash in Brockwell Park this summer.
The annual festival returns to the South London hub, taking place on May 26th. A celebration of the diasporas who make up Black British identity, the team behind City Splash have pulled in some huge names for this year’s event.
Dancehall kingpin and CLASH cover star Popcaan is set to headline, with the Jamaican artist capable o drawing on a seminal catalogue.
Elsewhere you can catch Tarrus Riley, Spice, Valient, Teejay, and crucial production team The Composers.
All-time great Ms Dynamite will hit City Splash, with newcomers like Nia Smith also set to make their mark.
City Splash have also announced the artist joining the line up from their ‘Rise Up’ initiative which launched last year. A programme championing outstanding emerging artists from the Caribbean, Rise Up offers a one-week residency culminating in a slot at the festival itself – this year’s talent consists of Jaz Elise, Nesta, Raebel, Ras-I, ElevateToday and Savannah Dumetz.
