Cult glam-grunge trio Placebo are set to return for three UK dates throughout May, playing London, Sheffield and Bournemouth.
The band are set to return with their sixth album ‘Battle For The Sun’ this summer, which saw original members Brian Molko and bassist Stefan Olsdal join forces with new drummer Steve Forrest, ‘Battle..’ will be the band’s first release since 2006’s ‘Meds’.
Other than the loss of original drummer Steve Hewitt, Placebo also recently switched labels, joining international imprint Play It Again Sam, and lead singer Brian Molko has declared the move a positive one. “We were very lucky to have so many great labels interested in signing us, it means a lot, especially after 12 years of releasing records!”
