PJ Harvey and Pulp will co-headline Øya Festival 2024
The multi award-winning Oslo event returns next summer, toasting its 25th anniversary. Running between August 7th and August 10th, fans can expect an eclectic bill, blending superb international acts with a range of homegrown talent.
Taking place a beautiful public park, Øya Festival has a reputation for being eco-friendly. For example rhe site operates free of fossil fuels, with 98% of its power being renewable – all construction machinery is run on biofuel. As if that wasn’t enough, 75% of all waste is recycled, having been sorted by hand. It’s an approach that has been honoured with top accolades at both the European Festival Awards and A Greener Festival Awards.
The first headline acts for 2024 have been confirmed. PJ Harvey released her excellent ‘I Inside The Old Year Dying’ album earlier this year, achieving universal acclaim in the process. Completing a majestic UK tour, her set at Øya Festival will undoubtedly be a highlight.
Alongside this, Sheffield legends, Britpop icons, and reformed heroes Pulp will hit Øya Festival for a very special set. Both artists co-headline on August 7th.
