PIXIES will take their seminal albums ‘Bossanova’ and ‘Trompe le Monde’ on the road next year.
The American band remain a fiery, gut-churning live experience, propelled by Black Francis’ irresistible howl. Next Spring fans will be able to savour two iconic moments from their catalogue, with PIXIES taking two influential LPs out on the road.
‘Bossanova’ was recorded alongside producer Gil Norton in 1990, and it contains evergreen singles such as ‘Allison’ and the mighty ‘Velouria’. Alongside this, PIXIES will be pilfering from ‘Trompe le Monde’, the 1991 set that brought you ‘Planet Of Sound’ and their ferocious take on the Jesus and Mary Chain’s ‘Head On’.
Dates include three nights at Dublin’s magnificent Olympia, a trilogy of appearances at Manchester’s historic Albert Hall, and a triptych of sets at O2 Forum Kentish Town in North London.
