Public Image Limited are set to support The Stone Roses during their Finsbury Park show this summer.
John Lydon has always been vocal about his roots. Born and brought up in North London, the singer's past in Finsbury Park continues to guide his career.
Now the frontman is set to return home. The Stone Roses have announced an epic one night stand in North London, hitting Finsbury Park on June 8th.
Public Image Limited have been recruited to play a support slot, with John Lydon commenting: "I am Finsbury Park and I am having a lark".
Set to be a nice moment for the frontman, the show follows recent performances in China, as well as Japan and Australia. Next up: Glastonbury, in what is set to be PiL's first visit to Worthy Farm.
Time for another quick message… "What a great chance for The Rolling Stones and Michael Jagger to see Public Image Ltd and Johnny Rotten at Glastonbury. Hugs and Kisses baby Rockers."
Public Image Limited will play Finsbury Park on June 8th.
