Two returning acts have cancelled their UK shows, with Doves and Phoenix both pulling forthcoming live dates.
Fans were left disappointed last night when French indie-pop act Pheonix pulled out of their Hoxton Bar & Grill gig due to an unforeseen throat virus that plagued frontman Thomas Mars, however all tickets for the gig will be valid for their Brixton Academy show in October (28th).
After missing out on a number 1 last week by seven copies to Lady Gaga – one of the biggest chart battles in recent memories – Doves have now had to postpone their show tonight at the Leeds Academy (April 25th), also due to illness. The Manchester trio will now return for a re-scheduled show on the 8th May and have issued an apology to all fans, and are planning to continue their tour in the 26th April.
