Returning with his new album ‘Grace/Wastelands’ this week (full Clash Music review here), Pete Doherty has now added a London show to his current UK tour.
Doherty will return to play the City’s Troxy venue on March 29th, the last date on his UK tour, which will see him play the album and a selection of albion classics as well.
Recorded at Olympic Studios in London last autumn with legendary producer Stephen Street (who currently has his sights on producing the new Blur album), ‘Grace/Wastelands’ features some of Pete’s strongest songs in years, as well as collaborations from Dot Alison and Graham Coxon.
Pete Doherty has also confirmed a very special appearance on ‘Friday Night With Jonathan Ross’. The singer will appear on March 27th, playing songs from his new album. It is not known if his touring band will appear alongside him – the band includes Graham Coxon, Stephen Street, a string section and a couple of members of Babyshambles.
