Pendulum For Snowbombing

More acts for Austrian festival

Pendulum have been added to the line up for next year’s Snowbombing festival.

Hidden in the mountains of Austria, Snowbombing has earned a devoted following due to its hand picked line up and superb conditions. One of Europe’s top areas for snow sports, Mayrhofen turns over its chalets to thousands of music fans.

The easy going atmosphere means that fans can mingle with stars, swapping guitars for snowboarding equipment. Set to return early next year, Snowbombing has unveiled yet more names on its line up.

The Austrian festival has confirmed The Prodigy as headliners, with more names announced this morning. Australian drum ‘n’ bass mentalists Pendulum are amongst the latest crop of acts, after confirming a rare live set.

Fixtures on the festival circuit, Pendulum tend to stick to DJ sets. However with their new album becoming an international success the group have been tempted into joining the line up at Snowbombing.

Other acts confirmed for the Austrian event include Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, blending spoken word poetry with electronica. Beardyman will take his bizarre set to Mayrhofen, while The Milk and Dub Pistols will join him on the slopes.

Dance rockers The Sunshine Underground are on the comeback trail, after confirming a full scale British tour later this year. Working on new material, the Leeds based group are set to take time out for a trip to Snowbombing.

Amongst the other new additions are Ms Dynamite, Tinie Tempah and Professor Green with plenty more yet to be confirmed.

Tickets are on sale now.

Snowbombing takes place between April 4th – 9th.
