Pearl Jam are set to play a headline slot at next summer’s instalment of the Isle of Wight festival.
The past 24 hours have seen the Clash (Scotland) office battered by high speed winds, as hurricane conditions set in across the North of the country. With that in mind, the summer season is looking increasingly tempting…
The Isle of Wight has already confirmed a series of headline performances, with both Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty set to drop by. Now organisers have confirmed a third headliner, with Pearl Jam due to play the epic summer event.
The band recently launched their 20th anniversary celebrations, which included a documentary and an officially sanctioned biography. Set to re-issue their studio albums, Pearl Jam will begin looking forward next year.
Currently plotting their tenth studio album, Pearl Jam will escape from the studio to play a headline set at Isle of Wight next summer.
Early bird tickets are on sale now. The Isle of Wight festival runs between June 22nd – 24th.
The Isle of Wight show forms part of a summer tour from Pearl Jam. Flying out to Europe, the American group will play a length arena tour which takes in some epic dates across the continent.
Hitting the UK for a one off show, Pearl Jam are set to play Manchester’s MEN Arena on June 20th. Opening the European tour, the Manchester date will be followed by concerts in Holland, Belgium, France and more.
