Peaches For Get Loaded

Latest additions from Clapham Common

London’s Get Loaded In The Park is renowned as being one of the summer’s hottest parties, and the bill just got better with the introduction of Canadian electro minx Peaches.

No one does filth quite like Peaches. The Canadian temptress had to get Iggy Pop in to duet with her, and even he came away battered and bruised. The one time school drama teacher (only in Canada) has been working on new material for some time, which will see the light of day next month.

Peaches new album ‘I Feel Cream’ is a typically stomping blast of electro pop. Lead single ‘Talk To Me’ is a snarling rant, that will no doubt echo around the placid environs of London’s historic Clapham Common.

Also joining the bill are Roni Size / Reprazent, who will play a UK exclusive festival set. The drum ‘n’ bass guru re-united with his one time partners for some stunning shows recently, and will pull put all the stops at Get Loaded.

Another exclusive performance comes courtesy of Carl Craig. Together with the Innerzone Orchestra the techno legend will perform a mind blowing set, which will contain a host of new material.

Already confirmed for Get Loaded In The Park are rave legends Orbital. The Hartnoll brothers reformed recently, and with live performances thin on the ground this looks like one of the summer’s most spectacular dance moments.

Joining the rave heroes are Norwegian chill out gurus Royksopp, Booka Shade and special DJ sets from the likes of Pendulum, Crookers and Felix Da Housecat.

As ever, Clash will be there every step of the way. This year we’ll be hosting a stage at the Clapham Common event, and though the line up has yet to be confirmed we can promise some top drawer entertainment.

Get Loaded In The Park takes place on August 30th.
