Paul Weller Winter UK Tour

The Modfather returns to the road

British songwriting legend Paul Weller has announced details of a new winter tour.

Paul Weller has always known the power of a good live show. Back in the punk days, when ramshackle quartets would rush through fifteen minutes of power chords The Jam wore sharp suits and blasted through quicksilver R&B covers.

Since then, Paul Weller seems to have spent the bulk of his career on the road. Touring ceaselessly, the singer has been able to drop in new material to his set, testing out ideas on his fans.

Last year’s tour saw Paul Weller mix classics with unheard material. The new tracks would form the backbone of ‘Wake Up The Nation’ the Modfather’s incendiary and soon to be released album.

Containing some of the singer’s most direct material in decades, the album also boasts a guest appearance from Weller’s old Jam cohort Bruce Foxton.

Due for release on April 19th, Paul Weller is already looking ahead. Confirming a vast series of tour dates, the songwriter is due to spend the bulk of the winter months on the road.

Opening in Brighton on November 23rd, the tour extends across the UK. Paul Weller will finish the tour on December 10th with a show in Wembley Arena – the site of The Jam’s final show.

Paul Weller has confirmed the following shows:
