“Oxygene” Re-Released

Synths Allowed To Breath Again

Jean Michel Jarre – one of the pivotal figures in early electronic music – has decided to re-record his most famous work, “Oxygene”. The album has sold 12 million copies since its release in 1977 and has become a benchmark in music history. The signature melody of “Oxygene” became the ubiquitous soundtrack to the late 70s.

Now Jarre has decided to dust down his antique synths and recreate the album for its 30th anniversary. Performed live with three other musicians, Jarre decided to film this live performance for release.

The result is the DVD “Oxygene – Live In Your Living Room”, which contains this unique live performance in both 2D and 3D format. The concert is also the first to be filmed in stereoscopy, which promises to be the next step forward in multimedia entertainment. The 3D version can be watched on normal TV, and the DVD comes accompanied with special glasses.

To be in with a chance of winning one of three exclusive copies of the DVD please answer the following question: In which year was Oxygene released?
