Oxegen Price Freeze

Festival holds ticket price

Ireland’s award winning Oxegen festival has revealed it will freeze the prices for its 2009 event at last year’s prices.

One of Europe’s most renowned events, Oxegen has already unveiled a mouth watering bill. Reformed Britpop group Blur will headline alongside fan favourites Kings Of Leon and Australian legend Nick Cave And The Band Seeds.

Further down the bill Bloc Party will bring their always entertaining live show to Oxegen, while Razorlight, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and fauz lesbian Katy Perry will all play sets.

With a host of other big names still to come, this summer’s Oxegen festival looks to be very special indeed.

Fans of Oxegen can register for pre-sale tickets by logging on to their official site now. Beginning on February 22nd, the pre-sale will mark the first chance fans will have of getting their hands on tickets.

Tickets for the Irish event will go on general sale on March 6th, and will be available at the price of 224.50 Euro (including booking fee). Credit crunch? What credit crunch?

Oxegen takes place between July 10th – 12th.
