Outlook Festival is set to launch its 2012 event with an enormous party in London.
Held on Croatia, Outlook is enormous in size and scale. The festival is held against the backdrop of an abandoned fort, and it’s regular boat parties have begun the stuff of summer legend.
2011 saw Outlook break through into the wider consciousness, with the event deservedly winning ‘Best European Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards. Never ones to slow down, the Croatian team are already looking ahead…
Keeping the 2012 line up under wraps, Outlook are set to launch this summer’s event with an enormous one off party in London. Held at Ewer Street car park this Saturday (January 21st) fans can expect three areas of totally distinct music.
Arch 1 will be dominated by the spectre of Iration Steppas Sound System, one of the heaviest dub crews around. Grime head Logan Sama will be on hand, while Deep Medi’s V.I.V.E.K, Quest, J:Kenzo, The Dubateers Ft Charlie P, Planas Ft Jila and Evergreen are all set to take part.
Meanwhile Arch 2 will boast Glasgow’s inimitable Mungo’s Hi Fi. A true bass institution, Mungo’s have taken their Caledonian dub around the globe and are frequent visitors to the bedlam of Outlook.
Playing alongside The Bug & Daddy Freddy, Rebel MC aka Congo Natty featuring Nanci & Pheobe and more the vibrations will rattle across the city.
Finally, Noise Control Audio will control Arch 3 with appearances from Girl Unit, Fantastic Mr Fox, Marcus Nasty and more.
