The third annual Summercase festival, spread between the Spanish cities of Madrid and Barcelona, is set to return with an expanded bill.
The festival has grown to become one of the most exciting continental events in the summer season, boasting a joint attendance of over 100,000 fans.
The line up for this year’s event includes New York group Interpol, as well as Danish ravers The Raveonettes and Tiga. Already confirmed for the festival are The Breeders, CSS, Foals, Sex Pistols, The Verve and a host of others.
The festival joins the traditionally hostile cities in a joint celebration of music and art. Set in the luxurious confines of Boadilla del Monte in Madrid and the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Summercase is a rare joy.
Summercase ’08 takes place over the weekend of July 18th and 19th.
