Oasis will play further shows in Manchester, London, and Edinburgh next summer.
The reunion of the Gallagher brothers is the biggest story in town right now, with Oasis reconvening for a full tour next summer. The band famously splintered backstage at Rock en Seine in Paris over a decade ago, sparking a huge grudge between the Britpop siblings.
A bridge has been built over troubled waters, however, with Oasis confirming epic plans for stadium shows across the country.
In a note, they said:
The guns have fallen silent.
The stars have aligned.
The great wait is over.
Come see.
It will not be televised.
With demand continuing to increase, Oasis have just added three more shows. Catch them at Manchester’s Heaton Park on July 16th, before hitting London’s Wembley Stadium on July 30th.
Oasis have added a further Scottish date – Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh on August 12th.
Tickets for the UK dates go on sale from 9am on Saturday, August 31st and will be available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.gigsandtours.com and www.seetickets.com. Dublin tickets will be available from 8am that same day from www.ticketmaster.ie.
