Novelist Plays Surprise London Set

At the launch of Oneskee's new pop-up shop...

Novelist popped up in East London last night (November 28th) for a very intimate live show.

The Lewisham don has had an incredible 2018, releasing his debut album to overwhelming acclaim, playing some stellar headline dates, and scooping a Mercury nomination.

Only hours after hearing confirmation of his SXSW 2019 slot Novelist ventured down to Boxpark in Shoreditch, performing a tiny show for the opening of a new pop-up shop.

Oneskee's stylishly designed snow-wear caught his eye, with the grime rapper wearing the brand onstage: "I didn't even realise this was a ski thing," he told the crowd, "I just thought it was sick!"

Working with the warm up DJ Dujon Fairweather, Novelist breezed through some highlights from his debut album, completely at ease with the crowd.

A rollercoaster 24 hours for the South London talent, Novelist's set seemed to underline both his stellar star power and his down-to-earth sense of independence.

Oneskee's pop-up shop will remain open all this week:
