Noname has confirmed new shows in Manchester and London for February 2024.
The Chicago rapper and activist recently shared new album ‘Sundial’, her first in five years. A complex work of real insight, it was crafted over a period of several months in Los Angeles.
The inclusion of controversial bars from Jay Electronica caused online ripples, but Noname remains a much-cherished figure in the pantheon of spoken word, rap, and Black American arts more generally.
Recently hosting special live event Noname’s Sundial Block Party in her hometown neighbourhood of Bronzeville, Chicago, the rapper has now launched plans for a 33 date world tour.
The emphasis is on North America with a string of high profile dates, but Noname will come to the UK for a pair of headline shows. Catch her at Manchester’s O2 Academy on February 4th, before hitting London’s eventim Apollo on February 6th.
