Noisettes UK Tour Details

October tour announced

Chart smashing electro-rockers The Noisettes have confirmed details of an extensive new UK tour, due to begin in October.

The Noisettes are one of the more surprising chart sensations thrown up by 2009 so far. The band’s debut album ‘What’s The Time, Mr Wolf?’ stiffed, despite some thrilling garage rock action.

Dropped by their label, the band returned to the rehearsal studio and focussed on a pure pop agenda. Negotiating a new deal, The Noisettes returned with the stomping electro track ‘Don’t Upset The Rhythm’.

Catchier than a summer cold, the song ripped through the charts eventually settling for number two position on the hit parade. With their new single ‘Never Forget You’ released next month, the band are set to soundtrack the summer.

A stunning live act, the video for ‘Never Forget You’ is based on an usual concept. Inviting fans to film their shows, The Noisettes pieced together the footage to craft the promo, moving from camera to camera in the process.

Taken from their forthcoming second album, it showcases just how dynamic a live group The Noisettes are. The band recently played Glastonbury, and stormed the John Peel Stage with a sensational set.

Stunned by the news of Michael Jackson’s death, singer Shingai Shoniwa sang a solo version of ‘Ben’ – the icon’s early hit.

Due to kick of in Glasgow on October 11th, The Noisettes new tour will wind its way through the nation before coming to a no doubt explosive climax at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on October 26th.

The Noisettes are due to play the following dates:
