Tickets for Noel Gallagher’s expanded Spring tour went on sale this morning (November 25th).
In the end, it was all too easy. Leaving Oasis with a stockpile of new material, Noel Gallagher was able to provide a focussed, well thought through debut album. Flying into the charts at number one, the record’s success was fuelled by the songwriter’s astute use of the media.
Stoking the fires of retribution with his erstwhile Oasis band (oh, and sibling) Liam Gallagher, the singer kept fans entertained and himself in the papers.
Announcing a full UK tour for Spring 2012, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are ready to step it up a notch. Now attempting some rather large venues, the collective were recently forced to add several shows to their Spring tour.
Set to play a one off show at Edinburgh Castle next summer, this is the first large scale set piece show by a former member of Oasis. No word on festival shows as yet, with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds set to head back out onto the road in September 2012.
Tickets for those shows went on sale this morning (November 25th) and – if previous sales are anything to go by – competition will be ferocious. Best of luck to you…

Amongst the latest concerts to be announced is a one off trip to Aberdeen. Taking place on February 14th, the show is a hell of a Valentine’s gift for Scottish fans and takes control of the P&J Arena.
Other recent confirmations include a show in Sheffield, with the singer’s Spring tour being marginally extended.
Announcing four shows for Autumn, the songwriter is set to hit the road in September. Opening in Bournemouth, the dates include performances in Liverpool and Cardiff before ending in Nottingham on September 10th.
