Noah & The Whale have outlined plans for their biggest headline tour yet early next year.
Returning with their third album ‘Last Night On Earth’, Noah & The Whale appeared poised to break out of their cult following. The band’s redemptive streak gave the album a popular edge which – added to the slight 80s sound – gave it enormous crossover potential.
Since then, Noah & The Whale have spent the bulk of the year on the road. Each successive tour takes in larger venues, with the band extending their appeal to foreign climes.
Polishing off their latest British tour, the band are now digging out their passports for a final trip to the States. Arranging a number of American shows, Noah & The Whale will see out 2011 sipping cocktails by the beach in Mexico.
Returning to a no doubt frozen UK, the group will then begin work on their largest headline tour yet. Announcing plans for eleven shows, Noah & The Whale will play some of the biggest venues of their career.
Culminating in a show at the Royal Albert Hall, the band will also play massive shows in Edinburgh, Manchester, Newcastle and more.
Fans will be able to apply for pre-sale tickets via the group’s official website tomorrow morning (October 12th) before the full ticket sale opens on Friday (October 14th) morning at 9am.
A big week for the band, look out for Noah & The Whale tonight (October 11th) on Later… With Jools Holland. Performing live on the show, you can watch the full performance on Friday’s edition.
