Acclaimed New York songwriter Nina Nastasia has confirmed details of a new single and UK tour dates.
Nina Nastasia has a close relationship with the UK. Little known even in her native United States, producer Steve Albini passed a copy of her debut album to legendary Radio 1 figure John Peel.
The venerable taste maker loved the album, and played it to death on his show. Nina Nastasia became a constant fixture, even recording a famed Peel session from the DJ’s house.
Gaining a cult following, Nina Nastasia in some ways enjoys a higher profile in the UK than her homeland. Returning with her new album ‘Outlaster’ later this year, the singer has confirmed a series of tour dates.

Nina Nastasia is set to return to the UK shortly, after the release of her new single ‘Cry, Cry, Baby’. Set to hit the digital record racks on May 10th the download only single is taken from her new album.
The new British shows open on May 24th, and include a special show restricted to fans who subscribe to her mailing list. Finishing on May 31st in Brighton the gigs will see Nina Nastasia unleash her new album.
