Nile Rodgers & CHIC will headline this year's Liverpool International Music Festival.
The city-wide all-star event is shaping up to be a summer highlight, having bagged performances from hip-hop icons De La Soul, dance producer SIGMA, and Disco Classical with special guest Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge.
Running between July 20th and 21st, Liverpool International Music Festival is now set to welcome Nile Rodgers & CHIC.
The guitarist will trawl through his legendary catalogue on Merseyside, with Nile Rodgers speaking of his live of the city.
He comments: “Liverpool has been the site of some of my greatest moments as an artist from our triumphant concerts there, where we are made to feel like we are from Anfield or the Old Swan to being honoured by Sir Paul McCartney at LIPA. We cannot wait to be back to Merseyside not once, but twice this summer!”
Other names on the line up include NAO, SG Lewis, Sound Of 2019 nominee Grace Carter, and Kara Marni, as well as local talents LUNA, Raheem Alameen and KYAMI of the festival’s talent development programme, LIMF Academy.
Tickets are on sale now - they start at £11 per person, and you can buy them HERE.
Ages 12 and under go free.
