New Pornographers Tour With Neko Case

British shows confirmed

Canadian group The New Pornographers are set to play several UK shows with Neko Case.

Formed in the late 90s, The New Pornographers have helped to shift perceptions of Canadian music. Over the past decade, the band and its multitude of solo projects have released countless stunning albums.

Singer Neko Case is a frequent collaborator, although the songwriter is often forced to sit out live shows. An acclaimed solo artist in her own right, the Canadian star rarely appears in concert with the band.

Working on their new album ‘Together’ Neko Case and The New Pornographers were on fine form. Amongst the band’s finest efforts to date, the pair’s easy going chemistry helped recording sessions.

Now the band are planning a treat for British audiences. Fresh from a full band show at the Matador 21st birthday party, The New Pornographers are set to play two special dates in Britain.

Joined by Neko Case, The New Pornographers are scheduled to play a one off headline show in London on December 9th. Performing in support of ‘Together’ the band will drop in a few surprises for fans.

Taking control of the Shepherd’s Bush Empire venue, tickets are due to go on sale shortly. Meanwhile, The New Pornographers have been handpicked by Belle & Sebastian to join the bill at Bowlie 2.

An ATP event, the Minehead shows are long since sold out. Containing some very special performances, Bowlie 2 is the final event in All Tomorrow’s Parties celebration of its first decade in existence.

Due to perform a full band show, the performance will be one of many highlights from the weekend.

The New Pornographers have confirmed the following shows:
