My Best Fiend have confirmed plans for their first ever batch of British tour dates.
Warp don’t really sign guitar bands, so when they do the label normally seem to ensure they’re something special. Such is the case with My Best Fiend, whose debut album ‘In Ghostlike Fading’ has been charming ears since its release earlier this month.
An American five piece, My Best Fiend have the same dream like charm which infused the best of Galaxie 500. Yet there’s a yearning songcraft, a sense of tradition which belongs entirely to them.
Announcing a series of British shows, My Best Fiend have also made their debut album ‘In Ghostlike Fading’ available to stream as a handy YouTube playlist.

My Best Fiend are due to perform at The Great Escape on May 11th, before hitting the Dublin leg of the Camden Crawl on May 12th.
Arranging two headline shows, My Best Fiend will play Manchester’s Soup Kitchen on May 13th before finishing at London venue the Lexington on May 14th.
