Mumford & Sons Glasto Plans

Band To Play Three Festival Slots

Mumford & Sons will be having a busy Glastonbury weekend, it has been announced, with the group set to play three different slots at the epic festival.

Hotly tipped by many pundits (not least our good selves) Mumfords & Sons link bluegrass to pop, bringing the spirit of the Appalachians to the world. After forming little under a year ago the group have come a very long way in almost no time at all, supporting Noah And The Whale as well as Laura Marling.

Centred on the duo Marcus Mumford and Winston Marshall, the pair met in infamous London hang-out Bosun’s Locker, and after adding a member here and there became the group that will take the stage not once, but three times at this year’s Glastonbury. Mumford & Sons are set to release their debut EP “Lend Me Your Eyes” on July 7th through Chess Club Recordings.

Mumford & Sons are set to play the following Glastonbury sets:

June 27th – Greenpeace Tent, Glastonbury
June 28th – Strumerville Tent & Greenpeace Tent, Glastonbury
June 29th – Park Stage, Glastonbury
