Mumford & Sons have announced plans for a lengthy tour of the UK and Ireland.
A deeply British phenomenon, Mumford & Sons seem to be spending more and more of their time in the United States. Recently appearing on Saturday Night Live, the band recently completed a hectic flurry of media dates. Now the band are set to focus their attention on the UK and Ireland.
Mumford & Sons have announced a new tour, which they have decided to label 'The Tour Of Two Halves'. The reason? Well, the group will be playing fourteen shows split into six theatres followed by eight arenas. Opening in Torquay on November 21st, Mumford & Sons will play a number of shows including a visit to the Caird Hall in Dundee – where Clash Magazine was born.
Set to play London's O2 Arena on December 11th, the tour ends with two Irish shows before finishing in Dublin on December 16th. Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday (September 28th) at 9am.
