Following last week’s news that Legendary Seattle grunge outfit Mudhoney are set to play a one-off show in London, the group have now expanded their run of shows to include Edinburgh and Leeds.
With a back catalogue that influenced everyone from Nirvana (check out our Clash Essential 15 on them Here) to Soundgarden, the band’s celebrated slacker-pop is set to make a rare live return to the U.K. in October.
Early E.P.’s such as ‘Superfuzz Bigmuff’ were instrumental in forming the foundations for the Seattle grunge scene which would later sweep the City, then the world.
Many of the scene’s founding band’s continue to tour, with sludge rockers Melvins recently mapping a UK Tour recently and Sonic Youth still going strong (recent live review Here).
Mudhoney themselves released their eighth album ‘The Lucky Ones’ last year, as well as celebrating the twentieth anniversary of their debut release and Sub Pop Records’ two decades of success.
