Moon Duo are amongst the latest additions to the Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia.
Launched last year, the Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia tapped into the Mersey's hidden currents. Long a focal point for mind expanding music and culture, the city was finally allowed to host an event which reached towards the outer reaches of the consciousness.
Returning for a fresh battle with normalcy, the Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia recently added a few more names to its 2013 line up. San Francisco duo (and Wooden Shjips offshoot) Moon Duo are set to appear, bringing with them drone heavy Krautrock jams fit to burst the cranium.
Elsewhere, Dead Meadow are set to perform at the event while The Besnard Lakes and White Manna will also drop by. Peaking Lights are rightly lauded for their fusion of dub, electronics and psychedelia, and the pair will be on hand to man a special soundsystem installation at the event.
Existing names on the line up include Clinic, Fuzz, Psychic Ills and more, with DJ sets confirmed from Richard Norris, Trouble In Mind, Sonic Cathedral and Pete Fowler.
Tickets are on sale now.
Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia runs between September 27th – 28th.
