Mona are plotting to release their second single ‘Trouble On The Way’ on December 13th.
Hailing from Nashville, Mona are already being tipped to demolish 2011. The American group produce savage rock ‘n’ roll with a barrel-load of heart resulting in an already passionate following.
Following on from their much hyped debut single, Mona are planning to release a brand new track. Available on their own ZionNoiz imprint ‘Trouble On The Way’ is a heart-quickening slice of indie rock.
Comparisons with Kings Of Leon abound, but short of geography there is little the two bands have in common. Mona have a spirit of their own, with choruses destined to fill headline festival slots next summer.
‘Trouble On The Way’ is set to be released as a limited edition seven inch and download, with the physical copy made available through independent stores.
Set to return to the UK later this year, Mona are planning to make their first appearance on British television with a slot on ‘Later… With Jools Holland’. Will Jools get his piano out? Wait and see…
The performance comes as Mona plan a short British tour. Opening in London on December 7th, other dates include a trip to Glasgow, a stopover in Manchester and an appearance at Bristol.
Finishing on December 18th in Brighton, the tour will see Mona play such intimate venues for perhaps the final time.
Tickets are available now.
