Mogwai Head Back Out On The Road

2014 tour dates confirmed...

Mogwai have confirmed a handful of UK shows early next year as work on their new studio album continues.

Mogwai might well be taking a backseat, but that hasn't prevented the band from pushing forward. In the past few weeks, the band have performed their 'Zidane' soundtrack (twice), witnessed renewed intrigue in their score for French drama 'The Returned' and guitarist Stuart Braithwaite performed solo to aid a Glasgow monument.

Set to perform at the final holiday camp instalment of All Tomorrow's Parties, the band have now outlined plans for a short burst of live appearances early next year. The dates are mainly focussed on the continent, but open in London on January 24th.

Taking place in the Royal Festival Hall, members can purchase tickets from 10am on August 15th while the general public must wait until 10am on August 16th.

Meanwhile, Mogwai have returned to the studio with Paul Savage to begin work on their new album. Refusing to give out clues to fans, the band have instead been posting images to their Instagram displaying the record's development – follow Mogwai on Instagram HERE.

Mogwai are set to play the following shows:

November
28 Cambridge The Junction

December
1 All Tomorrow's Parties

January
28 London Royal Festival Hall
