Miles Kane has confirmed a series of UK tour dates, beginning early next year.
With a career spanning some three groups already, Miles Kane has not enjoyed the best of luck. Despite the acclaim showered on The Little Flames and The Rascals the songwriting only found success as part of The Last Shadow Puppets.
Rather over-shadowed (no pun intended) by partner Alex Turner, the songwriter is set to step out on his own. Using his own name, Miles Kane entered the studio this year to lay down some new material.
The singer’s debut solo album is set to drop next year, with lead single ‘Inhaler’ already storming indie dancefloors. A spiky piece of singalong indie, the track has a real edge which has surprised fans.
Becoming a radio staple, Miles Kane has arranged a short burst of tour dates. Two stand alone shows will be followed by a trip with The Courteeners, playing as a special guest of the Manchester band.
Forming a full group, Miles Kane will be joined by Jay Sharrock from The Sand Band on drums, singer-songwriter Eugene McGuinness on vocals/rhythm guitar and Ben Parsons and Phil Anderson from Cherry Ghost on keyboards and bass guitar respectively.
The headline shows open in Newcastle on February 10th, before taking off around the country. Miles Kane will drop past King Tuts in Glasgow on February 12th, before hitting his hometown of Liverpool on February 25th.
Ending in Sheffield on February 26th, Miles Kane will preview material from his new album as well as dropping in a few surprises.
