Australian dance rockers Midnight Juggernauts have been added to the bill for this year’s Lovebox Weekender.
Taking place in Victoria Park, Lovebox Weekender is an annual celebration of all that is great and good about underground clubbing. Gathering breaking talent and top names, the festival has a joyous atmosphere which matches a stunning bill.
This year stars such as Grace Jones and Hot Chip will gather on the event, with Lovebox organisers recently announcing the full line up.
Amongst the latest additions are Australian beat merchants Midnight Juggernauts. Mixing the visceral thrill of electro and dubstep with the impact of rock music, the Modular group have led the dance charge from Down Under.
Working on new material, Midnight Juggernauts are planning to take a break from the studio especially for Lovebox.
Joining them on the bill will be Southend group These New Puritans. With their new album ‘Hidden’ containing almost unbridled ambition, the band have finally matched their cult reputation with wider recognition.
Live, These New Puritans are an explosion of natty threads and groundbreaking music. People of Lovebox – prepare yourself for the bassoon solo!
Meanwhile, organisers have also added the likes of Mercury nominees The Invisible to the line up, with bedroom boffin Toro Y Moi due to perform.
A collage of style, fashion and sexuality Lovebox is one of London’s most outrageous parties. Always with its finger on the pulse, this summer will no doubt see plenty more trends launched at Victoria Park.
Lovebox Weekender takes place between July 16th – 18th.
