Michael Jackson To Double Residency

Singer could announce ten more dates

King of pop Michael Jackson could be about to add another ten dates to his much discussed residency at the O2 Arena.

The singer has been down on his luck recently. A series of court battles and ill health had led many to write him off, however the ten night residency has dominated the press since it was announced.

Set to be one of the most iconic live moments of recent times, the public has responded in kind to the news. Despite the fact tickets have not been released, fans have inundated the singer’s site which at one point recorded over 10,000 hits a second.

A report in the Daily Mirror suggests that Michael Jackson may be set to add another ten dates at the venue. Speculation has been non-stop since the residency was announced, with the upper limit generally agreed to be fifty nights.

Pop guru Pete Waterman warned fans not to get their hopes up however, suggesting that Jackson’s health would prevent a lengthy run.

The run begins on July 8th, with tickets set to go on sale at 7am on March 13th.

The Association Of Secondary Ticket Agents has warned fans not to buy Michael Jackson tickets yet as any advertised before the official announcement are unlikely to materialise.
