Metronomy Stream Amsterdam Show

At launch of Ralph Lauren store

Metronomy are set to stream a live show direct from Amsterdam next week (November 15th).

Beginning as a brain child of Joe Mount, Metronomy always struggled to escape the accusation that they were a solo project. With the success of ‘The English Riviera’ Metronomy seem to be finally accepted as a band.

Touring continuously, the group have been able to take their music to a larger audience than ever before. Now criss-crossing the continent, Metronomy are set to stream an Amsterdam show live on the internet.

Taking place on November 15th, the show is open to competition winners only. With just 250 people set to be in attendance, it marks a return to intimate shows for a band who are looking ahead to a massive UK headline tour in February.

Part of the Warehouse Roadshow, the one off concert in Amsterdam marks the opening of the first Denim & Supply store. Capping a big year for Ralph Lauren, the intimate show will also be streamed live on the Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren Facebook page from 7.30pm (GMT) for everyone to enjoy.

Metronomy’s show is just the first in a series of exclusive performances in the Warehouse Roadshow. Organized in tandem with key Denim & Supply store openings, each live event will have a similar Facebook competition, as well as a documentary.

Joe Mount was obviously pleased at the prospect of returning to Amsterdam. “The great thing about playing the Ralph Lauren show in Amsterdam is that while it will be an intimate show, it will be possible for underage folk and people who are stuck at home with the flu to watch the whole thing being streamed online…is this the future? Perhaps.”

Tune in to the one off show HERE.
