Metronomy Added To The Green Man

As special guests...

Metronomy have been added to the line up of this summer’s Green Man festival.

Green Man continues to diversity. The Welsh event began life by focussing on the blossoming Acid Folk resurgence, but has since expanded to include almost every genre under the sun.

Returning this summer, The Green Man boasts appearances from greats such as Van Morrison. The event is continuing to expand, with Metronomy being invited along this summer as special guests.

Still basking in the creative glow of ‘The English Riviera’, Metronomy will drop by Brecon Beacons. Part of the latest wave of additions, Joe Mount & Co. will have a few surprises up their sleeves for the Welsh festival.

Elsewhere, hotly tipped four piece Savages have been added to the bill. One of the year’s most hyped newcomers, the group’s take on the post-punk legacy feels fresh, vital and unrelenting.

Other new additions include Swedish songwriter Loney, Dear and Moshi Moshi signings Tom Williams & The Boat.

Continuing to expand, The Green Man have sealed off the Walled Garden. Organising a line up of DJs to compliment the 24 hour bars, organisers have booked up sets from the Communion label, Cover to Cover and of course Radio 1’s very own Jen Long.

Tickets are on sale now.

The Green Man runs between August 16th – 19th.
