Metal icons head to Worthy Farm...

One of the summer's true highlights, the Glastonbury team have been typically cagey about this year's line up.

Arcade Fire and Kasabian were swiftly installed as headliners, with rumours circulating about the third act to top the bill.

Well, the truth is out. In a swift tweet Metallica confirmed their involvement, with the thash dons due to dismantle Worthy Farm later this year.

The band said simply: "Worst kept secret in rock and roll is now confirmed".

Other new names on the line up include The London Sinfonietta and Jonny Greenwood, Deltron 3030, HAIM and The Horrors.

Glastonbury runs between June 27th - 29th.
