Metallica have played a show in the Antarctic – check out some footage below.
Metallica are one of the biggest bands on the planet. Yet – until now – there's been an entire continent which has to succumb to their charms.
Antarctica is occupied by only a handful of people, yet Metallica set themselves the task of performing on its snowy wastes.
Performing inside a dome at Argentine Antarctic Base Carlini, the band played a ten song set in front of competition winners from Latin America.
The set draw on their back catalogue, including classic cuts such as 'Master Of Puppets' alongside new tracks.
Hosted in collaboration with Coca Cola Zero, footage from the show has now emerged online. Check out Metallica performing 'Sad But True' below. (via NME)
