MENT Ljubljana steams into its eighth festival with its most eclectic line up to date.
Eclectic music festival MENT returns to Slovenia’s beautiful capital, Ljubljana, through June 8th -10th, including 80 acts from 25 different countries and spread across 15 locations throughout the city. Known for its gorgeous parks, rivers and distant mountains, Ljubljana is the perfect backdrop for three days of musical discovery.
MENT festival focuses on discovery of local and regional European artists and scenes and is paired alongside a music business conference dedicated to education, networking, professional debates as well as other current topics within music and creative industries.
Heading into its eighth year, MENT returns with an excitingly broad-ranging repertoire, with the lineup covering genres from French-Japanese sound art to Italian kiwi-pop to Macedonian avant-jazz to German-Swiss krautrock as well as much, much more.
The enigmatic singer-songwriter and producer Yves Tumor will be making his Slovenian debut and kicking things off by headlining opening night. Among the many exciting acts performing on Thursday and Friday, we find the Ukrainian hip-hop icon Alyona Alyona, French avant-pop artist oklou, UK singer-songwriter Martha Skye Murphy and virtuoso Austrian keyboardist Dorian Concept.
