"A collective hallucination..."
Massive Attack

Massive Attack have confirmed plans for a special collaboration with Adam Curtis.

Massive Attack have a reputation for long, slumbering silences. Yet by the Bristol group's own standards, the past few years have been a fruitful period, bringing with it guest mixes, an EP and that Burial re-work.

Now the band have outlined plans for a unique performance. Collaborating with visual artist Adam Curtis, Massive Attack are set to take part in Manchester International Festival.

Little is known about the exact details of the performance, although Clash have been supplied with two press quotes:

Robert del Naja: "A collective hallucination."
Adam Curtis: "A musical entertainment about the power of illusion and the illusion of power."

Tantalisingly, the Manchester International Festival is dedicate to new work. Could Massive Attack unveil fresh material during the show? Fingers crossed...

Massive Attack vs Adam Curtis performances:

July 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13 – 8.30pm

Tickets go on sale at 10am next Friday (February 1st) - full details HERE.
