Mark Ronson Storms Record Stores

Host of intimate shows planned

Mark Ronson is set to launch his new album with some intimate appearances at record shops across the UK.

Mark Ronson is now a globally recognised star. The producer at the helm Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back To Black’ the New Yorkers were responsible for one of the biggest British releases of the past decade.

Forming The Business Intl last year, Mark Ronson gathered some close friends to record new material. With the resulting album ‘Record Collection’ due for release later this month, the producer has confirmed some unusual live shows.

The New Yorker is set to appear at independent record stores across the land, joined by some guest stars. Performing material from ‘Record Collection’ the producer will appear at some intimate locations.

Mark Ronson is set to be joined by members of The Business Intl, including MNDR, Spank Rock and The View’s own Kyle Falconer.

The tour comes as The Business Intl prepare to release their new single. ‘The Bike Song’ is set to hit record stores on September 20th, with the album highlight featuring guest vocals from Kyle Falconer and more.

Due to perform in record stores nationwide, Mark Ronson also intends to stock the shops with his favourite albums. Planing to serve customers himself, the producer will also be released a new 12 inch exclusively at these dates.

The disc features ‘Sound of Plastic’ a track co-written with Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran, while the B-side is a dub version of the song.

The record shop dates open in Bristol on September 27th, followed by an appearance at Rough Trade East. Further shows include Manchester’s Piccadilly on October 2nd before the short tour is completed in Leeds on October 3rd.
