Zoo Thousand and Eight has confirmed DJ extraordinaire Mark Ronson as their headliner for Friday’s main stage.
This addition has greatly pleased Zoo Thousand director Matt Dice: “It is a fantastic coup for us.”
He’ll be joined by leading UK rapper Dizzee Rascal, among a variety of other acts soon to surpass over 100, with further names expected to be announced shortly.
The 20,000 capacity event will also feature The Cribs, Funeral For A Friend, Athlete, British Sea Power and The Young Knives.
Taking place at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park from the 4th-6th July, festival-goers will be able to mingle with actually animals in addition to unruly fans.
Zoo Thousand will be making a donation to the Aspinall Foundation – the registered charity that runs Port Lympne Wild Animal Park – and festival goers will be able to visit the Animal Park for a reduced price.
