The first act has been confirmed for this year’s Splendour festival, with ska heroes Madness set to play the event in Nottingham.
Taking place on the 19th July, Splendour annually hosts a variety of more established artists, as well as emerging acts.
Last year saw the likes of Lightspeed Champion and Kate Nash join Evan Dando’s grunge-pop veterans The Lemonheads over the weekend.
Madness are set to headline the Sunday (19th) with more names set to be confirmed in the coming weeks. Tickets for the Wollaton Park event are now on sale.
Nottingham city residents can also snap-up half priced day tickets for only £15, whilst all others will be £30.
