The first wave of acts have been confirmed for this summer’s Lounge On The Farm event with Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip taking their unique live act to Kent.
Blame T In The Park. After that Scottish event became a behemoth sized festival it seemed that everyone and their cat were launching similarly named weekenders.
The best of these is by far Lounge On The Farm. I mean, what would you rather – a cup of tea or nice lounge around? Set in rural Kent, Lounge On The Farm is rapidly expanding with this year’s event boasting more than 160 acts and DJs.
Amongst this year’s headliners is Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip. The duo combine spoken word performances with innovative electronica, with their live show opening with a cut ‘n’ paste version of the Antiques Roadshow theme.
The Wave Pictures hail from Yorkshire, and their twee pop has caught the attention of fans across the nation. Putting the finishing touches to their second album, the band’s set will be something to look forward to.
Joining the party will be Wild Beasts, Mr Scruff, Gong and The Invisible.
Lounge On The Farm takes place between July 10th – 12th.
