Los Campesinos! have confirmed plans to hit the road in November ahead of their third album.
Love can be a great inspirational force. Some of the finest works of art have been composed under the influence of infatuation, with love helping to move the pen in directions never thought possible.
Equally, a broken heart can help clear the mind. Los Campesinos! are finding this out the hard way, with their upcoming third album ‘Hello Sadness’ detailing the traumatic end of a long term relationship.
Set to be released on November 14th, ‘Hello Sadness’ was recorded in Spain with the familiar face of John Goodmanson resting behind the producer’s desk.
To date, Los Campesinos! have offered little indication of the music contained therein. However all that will change, with the Cardiff based outfit deciding to release ‘By Your Hand’ as a free download.
The open track of their new album, it is a typically frenetic return from the band. Yet instead of the tumbling forth of youthful ideals Los Campesinos! have opted to detail the slow emotional collapse of a relationship.
